Laura Polirer (she/her)
An unyielding force in the arts, Laura explores drawing, painting, and collaging techniques to highlight arts-related waste, information processing, human connection, and the taken for granted. Her mission is to leave her viewers questioning their own artistic practices, relationships, and world view. A lot of her inspiration comes the need to process thought and emotion, as well as showing respect for everything that makes her work possible to create.
Laura lives and works in the Hudson Valley of New York. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Visual Arts from SUNY New Paltz, and is currently managing a fine art picture framing shop. She is CPF certified and has basic conservation knowledge.
